भाजपा से जुड़े विश्वस्त सूत्रों का कहना है कि भूपेंद्र यादव, राजीव चंद्रशेखर, मनसुख मांडविया, धर्मेंद प्रधान, नारायण राणे और रुपाला का राज्यसभा का कार्यकाल अप्रैल से मई में खत्म हो रहा है। पार्टी कुछ मंत्रियों को उनके गृह राज्यों के अलावा अन्य राज्यों की बाहरी सीट से उतारने के बारे में भी विचार कर रही है,भाजपा अपने कई राज्यसभा सांसदों को लोकसभा चुनाव लड़ाने जा रही है। पार्टी अप्रैल 2024 से दिसंबर 2026 के बीच राज्यसभा से रिटायर हो रहे दिग्गज नेताओं को 2024 के चुनावी रण में उतारेगी। इन पर सहमति बन गई है।
