प्रशांत कुमार बनाए गए यूपी के नए कार्यवाहक डीजीपी
यूपी को लगातार चौथी बार कार्यवाहक डीजीपी मिला है। स्पेशल डीजी कानून व्यवस्था प्रशांत कुमार को प्रदेश का कार्यवाहक डीजीपी नियुक्त किया गया है। प्रशांत कुमार को राज्य सरकार ने प्रदेश पुलिस का नया मुखिया बना दिया है। कार्यवाहक डीजीपी विजय कुमार के बुधवार को सेवानिवृत्त होने के बाद प्रशांत कुमार को यह जिम्मेदारी सौंपी गयी है। वर्ष 1990 बैच के आईपीएस प्रशांत कुमार 16 अफसरों को सुपरसीड करके कार्यवाहक डीजीपी बने हैं। प्रशांत कुमार को चार बार राष्ट्रपति का वीरता पदक मिल चुका है। उन्होंने एमएससी, एमफिल और एमबीए की शिक्षा ग्रहण की है। उनकी पत्नी डिंपल वर्मा रिटायर्ड आईएएस अधिकारी हैं और वर्तमान में रेरा में सदस्य हैं।
Prashant Kumar appointed as the new acting DGP of UP
UP has got the acting DGP for the fourth consecutive time. Special DG Law and Order Prashant Kumar has been appointed acting DGP of the state. The state government has made Prashant Kumar the new chief of the state police. Prashant Kumar has been given this responsibility after the retirement of acting DGP Vijay Kumar on Wednesday. 1990 batch IPS Prashant Kumar has become the acting DGP, superseding 16 officers. Prashant Kumar has received the President’s Gallantry Medal four times. He has completed MSc, MPhil and MBA. His wife Dimple Verma is a retired IAS officer and currently a member of RERA.
