प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने लोकसभा में कांग्रेस पर आरोप लगाया कि कांग्रेस जब-जब सत्ता में आई है, तब-तब महंगाई लाई है। उन्होंने कहा कि देश में महंगाई को लेकर दो गाने सुपरहिट हुए। एक महंगाई मार गई और दूसरा महंगाई डायन खाए जात है। ये दोनों गाने कांग्रेस की सरकारों में आए। पीएम मोदी ने यूक्रेन और गाजा में युद्ध और कोविड महामारी के बावजूद देश में महंगाई नियंत्रण में है। कभी डबल डिजिट में नहीं पहुंची। उन्होंने देश के पहले प्रधानमंत्री पंडित जवाहर लाल नेहरू से लेकर इंदिरा गांधी तक को उच्च महंगाई दर के लिए जिम्मेदार ठहराया।
