weather department : यूपी बिहार समेत कई राज्यों में दो से पांच दिन ‘लू’ चलने की चेतावनी
देश का अधिकांश हिस्सा भीषण गर्मी की चपेट में है। मौसम विभाग ने पश्चिम बंगाल व ओडिशा में लू चलने का रेड अलर्ट जारी किया है, वहीं उत्तर प्रदेश, बिहार समेत कई राज्यों में अगले दो से पांच दिन लू चलने की चेतावनी जारी की है। उधर, पंजाब-हरियाणा समेत कुछ राज्यों में तेज हवाओं के साथ बारिश होने की संभावना जताई गई है।मौसम विभाग ने बताया कि यूपी और बिहार के अलावा, झारखंड, तटीय आंध्र प्रदेश, तेलंगाना, तमिलनाडु, पुडुचेरी, गोवा, केरल और आंतरिक कर्नाटक में 30 अप्रैल तक लू चलने की संभावना है। मौसम विभाग ने इस दौरान खासकर गर्भवती महिलाओं व बच्चों को घर से बाहर नहीं निकलने की सलाह दी है।
Warning of ‘heat wave’ for two to five days in many states including UP and Bihar
Most of the country is in the grip of severe heat. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for heat wave in West Bengal and Odisha, while a warning of heat wave has been issued for the next two to five days in many states including Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Meanwhile, rain with strong winds has been predicted in some states including Punjab-Haryana. The Meteorological Department said that apart from UP and Bihar, there is a possibility of heat wave in Jharkhand, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Goa, Kerala and interior Karnataka till April 30. The Meteorological Department has advised especially pregnant women and children not to step out of the house during this period.
