पारिवारिक पेंशन में बेटा या बेटी को नॉमिनी बनाने पर केंद्र सरकार ने दी मंजूरी
लव इंडिया, नई दिल्ली। केंद्र सरकार ने महिला कर्मचारियों को पारिवारिक पेंशन में पति के स्थान पर बेटे या बेटी को नॉमिनी बनाने की मंजूरी दे दी है। पहले पारिवारिक पेंशन मृत कर्मचारी या पेंशनभोगी के पति या पत्नी को दी जाती थी, जबकि परिवार के अन्य सदस्य पति या पत्नी की अपात्रता या मृत्यु पर ही पात्र बनते थे। दूरगामी सामाजिक आर्थिक प्रभाव वाले इस निर्णय के बारे में केंद्रीय कार्मिक राज्यमंत्री जितेंद्र सिंह ने बताया कि पेंशन व पेंशनभोगी कल्याण विभाग ने सिविल सेवा (पेंशन) नियम, 2021 में बदलाव किया है, जिसमें महिला कर्मचारियों या पेंशनभोगियों को पति की जगह पात्र बच्चे/बच्चों को पारिवारिक पेंशन देने की अनुमति मिलती है। यह संशोधन उन हालात में मददगार होगा, जहां वैवाहिक कलह में तलाक होता है या घरेलू हिंसा, दहेज निषेध या भारतीय दंड संहिता जैसे कानूनों में मामले दायर होते हैं।

Regarding this decision which has far-reaching socio-economic impact, Union Minister of State for Personnel Jitendra Singh said that the Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare has made changes in the Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 2021, in which women employees or pensioners will be given the option to provide for eligible child/children in place of husband. Is allowed to give family pension. This amendment will be helpful in situations where marital discord results in divorce or cases are filed under laws like domestic violence, dowry prohibition or Indian Penal Code.
