यूपी में हरित आवरण 9.23% से बढ़ाकर 15%करने का लक्ष्य
उत्तर प्रदेश में साल 2030 तक हरित आवरण 9.23 फीसदी से बढ़ाकर 15 फीसदी किए जाने का लक्ष्य है। जिसके लिए सामाजिक वानिकीकरण योजना के लिए 600 करोड़ रुपयेजबकि पौधशाला प्रबंधन योजना के लिए 175 करोड़ रुपये की व्यवस्था प्रस्तावित है। वित्तमंत्री ने बताया कि राज्य सरकार प्रदेश में हरीतिमा वृद्धि के लिए लगातार प्रयासरत है। चालू वित्त वर्ष 2023-24 में उत्तर प्रदेश में हरीतिमा विस्तार के लिए प्रदेश में वृहद स्तर पर 35 करोड़ लक्ष्य के सापेक्ष 36.16 करोड़ पौधारोपण का कार्य कराया गया। वर्षाकाल-2024 में भी 35 करोड़ पौधारोपण का लक्ष्य प्रस्तावित है। ग्रीन इंडिया मिशन के अंतर्गत संचालित कार्यक्रमों के लिए 110 करोड़ रुपये की व्यवस्था प्रस्तावित है। इसे सरकार की राजकोषीय रणनीति में ग्रीन बजटिंग को शामिल करके पर्यावरणीय लिहाज से आगे बढ़ाने में मददगार माना जा रहा है।

The target is to increase the green cover in Uttar Pradesh from 9.23 percent to 15 percent by the year 2030. For which a provision of Rs 600 crore is proposed for the social afforestation scheme, while a provision of Rs 175 crore is proposed for the nursery management scheme. The Finance Minister said that the state government is continuously making efforts to increase greenery in the state. In the current financial year 2023-24, for the expansion of greenery in Uttar Pradesh, 36.16 crore tree plantation work was done on a large scale in the state against the target of 35 crore. A target of planting 35 crore trees is also proposed in the rainy season-2024. A provision of Rs 110 crore is proposed for the programs run under the Green India Mission. It is being considered helpful in moving forward from environmental point of view by including green budgeting in the fiscal strategy of the government.
