उमेश लव, लव इंडिया, मुरादाबाद। नगर निगम द्वारा आवंटित दुकान के मालिक ने अंतिम संस्कार से पहले के पिंडदान स्थान पर कब्जा कर लिया। इस संबंध में शिकायत किए जाने के बावजूद निगम प्रशासन ने कुछ नहीं किया। इस संबंध में संबंधित दुकानदार का पक्ष नहीं दिया। उनका वर्जन मिलेगा तो हम अपने ऑनलाइन पाठकों के लिए अपडेट करेंगे।

यह मामला मुरादाबाद शहर का है। यहां बुधबाजार, कोठीवाल नगर, कंजरी सराय, ताड़ीखाना, रेलवे स्टेशन आदि के लोग अंतिम संस्कार के लिए जब अपने प्रियजन को लालबाग श्मशान घाट लेकर जाते हैं तो टाउनहाल स्थित पटेल मार्केट में पीपल के पेड़ के नीचे चबूतरा बना था।

यहां पर हिंदू धर्म के अनुसार लालबाग को अंतिम संस्कार के लिए ले जाते वक्त चबूतरे पर शव को रखकर पिंडदान के लिए पिंड बदला करते थे लेकिन इस पर एक ऐसे दुकानदार ने कब्जा कर लिया, जिसे नगर निगम ने दुकान एलाट की थी। इसका कई बार विरोध हुआ लेकिन दुकानदार के आगे पुलिस प्रशासन पंगु बन गया।
According to Hindu religion, while taking the dead body to Lalbagh for last rites, people used to exchange it for Pind Daan on a platform, but it was taken over by a shopkeeper to whom the Municipal Corporation had allotted his shop. This was opposed many times but the police administration became paralyzed in front of the shopkeeper.
इस बीच, 13 दिसंबर 2023 को एक व्यक्ति की मृत्यु हुई। उसकी अंतिम यात्रा शुरू हुई तो लोग यह देखकर चौक गए कि पिंड बदलने वाला चबूतरा गायब था। फिलहाल, अंतिम संस्कार कराने के बाद इस मामले की शिकायत स्थानीय निकाय सफाई मजदूर संघ के प्रांतीय महामंत्री प्रेम बाबू बाल्मीकि ने की, मगर दो माह बाद भी कोई कार्रवाई नहीं हुई। इस संबंध में संबंधित दुकानदार का पक्ष नहीं मिल पाया।
