शीतलहर व कोहरे के चलते 400 उड़ानें प्रभावित,100 ट्रेनें भी लेट
मौसम विज्ञान विभाग ने बताया, उत्तर पश्चिम भारत के मैदानी इलाकों में अगले तीन दिन शीतलहर चलेगी। एक कमजोर पश्चिमी विक्षोभ पश्चिमी हिमालयी क्षेत्र को 16 जनवरी को प्रभावित कर सकता है।

इसके असर से जम्मू-कश्मीर, हिमाचल प्रदेश, लद्दाख में 16-17 जनवरी व उत्तराखंड में 17-18 जनवरी को कहीं हल्की तो कहीं मूसलाधार बारिश हो सकती है। बिहार, झारखंड, छत्तीसगढ़ व पूर्वोत्तर के राज्यों में भी कुछ जगह बारिश की संभावना है। उत्तर-पश्चिम दिशाओं से चल रही ठंडी हवाओं से सुबह गलन महसूस हुई।

दिल्ली का न्यूनतम तापमान सामान्य से चार डिग्री कम रहा। यह इस सीजन का सबसे ठंडी सुबह रही। उत्तर भारत के ज्यादातर क्षेत्रों में अच्छी धूप के बावजूद शीतलहर के कारण ठंड में कमी नहीं आई। घने कोहरे की वजह से दिल्ली में 400 से अधिक घरेलू, अंतरराष्ट्रीय उड़ानें व 100 से अधिक ट्रेनें प्रभावित हुईं।
