TMU Agriculture Students Shine on the International Stage
Under the Horticulture Work Program in Germany, each student will receive a stipend of ₹2 lakh per month.
loveindianational.com, Moradabad. 23 students from the College of Agricultural Sciences at Teerthanker Mahaveer University – TMU Moradabad, have been given a golden opportunity to receive training in Germany. Under the Horticulture Work Program in Germany, TMU students will work at Hof Röhrkasten and Erdbeerhof Osterloh farms. Each student will receive a stipend of ₹2 lakh per month for their three-month stay. The students will participate in various agricultural projects, work in advanced laboratories, and receive valuable guidance from experts. This experience will not only boost their educational qualifications but also help them become competitive on an international level.
In 2022, Vaibhav Kumar and Umesh Saini received packages of ₹18 LPA each for internships in Denmark.
The students are from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh, comprising 19 male and 4 female students. These students will depart for Germany on a three-month work visa on June 1st. Notably, in 2022, two students from TMU’s College of Agriculture Sciences, Vaibhav Kumar and Umesh Saini, went to Denmark for an internship with packages of ₹18 LPA each. The selected students include Dulam Arun Kumar, Navneet Dharshanala, Monika Bidhni, Niranjan Reddy Guduru, Shiva Krishna Bolla, Madipalli Raju, Patlola Praneeth Reddy, Reddimashu Dheeraj, Battu Arun Kumar, J Bhavadesh Verma, Swami Bhanawat from Telangana; Venkata Phanindra Reddy Machupalle, Manusha Reddy Ramireddy, Syed Ghouse Azam, Sheikh Asif Hussain, Venkata Sravanthi Malepati, Lakshmi Pratyusha Butti, Kolli Paladinker from Andhra Pradesh; Ansh Yadav, Abhishek, Hrithik Kumar Singh, Aryaman Singh from Uttar Pradesh; and Rishabh Raj from Bihar.

Elated by this achievement, TMU Chancellor Shri Suresh Jain stated that this international training would greatly enhance the technical and practical knowledge of students, making them competitive in the global agricultural industry. He advised the students to give their best and seek job opportunities while in Germany. GVC Manish Jain, Executive Director Akshat Jain, and Governing Body Member Ms. Nandini Jain remarked that the selection of students in Germany reflects the university’s dedication to providing the best educational and practical experiences. TMU Vice Chancellor Prof. VK Jain emphasised the importance of staying updated with the latest global agricultural developments and sustainable techniques. Dean of Students Welfare and Chief Proctor Prof. MP Singh motivated the students to use this golden opportunity to learn the global aspects of agriculture sciences. Dean of College of Agriculture Sciences, Dr. PK Jain stated that the primary aim of this training program is to give students first-hand exposure to contemporary global agriculture. The selected students see this as a unique opportunity to learn modern agricultural methods in Germany and contribute to the advancement of agriculture in India.
